Paeleon in the U.S.

Paeleon in the U.S.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Southern Peleponese region of Greece. As I grew up on our family farm in the village of Elos, I spent endless hours in the olive groves with my Grandfather Vasileios who taught me all he knew about our family olive business. In 1997, I moved to England to complete my education in horticulture. Studying at The University of Reading, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, then a Master's Degree in Plant Biotechnology. During my studies, I met my wife who was participating in the University of Reading's student exchange program.

In 2002, I returned to Greece and fulfilled 14 months of service in the army. In 2003, I took over management of 250 acres of olive and citrus groves which belonged to my grandfather and father. My wife completed her college education in 2007 and moved to Greece where we lived until 2008.

We moved to Merrill, Wisconsin in early 2009 and started our US business, Paeleon Olive Oil Products, in September of that year.

In April 2013, Paeleon moved to Madison, WI.
